Fashion Week: Paris, London Edition

It's that time again!!!!! Spring/Summer 2010!!!! Everyone is excited to see what's hot for spring (I know, I know fall just got here). Idk it's something about that pop of color, the lightness of the fabric, and the whimsical florals that we know will get us through the looooong winter ahead. Civilians and celebs alike headed out to feast their eyes on the brilliantness (I know that's not a word) that we call spring fashion. Let's take a sneak peek:

Alexander McQueen Paris, Spring/Summer 2010

McQueen strikes again with these impossibly high platforms. These shoes are what I call BANANAS!!!!!!!

Sonia Rykiel Paris, Spring/Summer 2010

Backstage at Vivienne Westwood Spring/Summer 2010

This eco-chic collection had pops of color, unfinished hems, and wearable art that is not easily rivaled. The modern, geisha inspired makeup was created by Shu Uemura's artistic director Kakuyasu.

Can't get enough of this guy *hearts in eyes*

Top Shop Spring/Summer 2010

Love the shocking electric pink lipstick. Also love the zipper.

Rih-Rih at Christian Dior

Game changer. That's all I can say. I never grow tired of looking at Rihanna. Her hair, makeup, and most of all, her fashion leave us coming back for more. You will soon see, that we at Beautiful Company, are mildly obsessed with Rih-Rih. She's our friend in our head. Embarassing I know *blushing*

Nathan Jenden Spring/Summer 2010

There you have it Ladies and Gentleman, a hint of spring. Because after all, you'll need it. Baby, It's Cold Outside!!!!

POW! Changing the Game One Earring At a Time!

{MELODY EHSANI}

If you haven't been living under a rock, I'm sure you've seen her jewelry on your favorite celebs.

Maybe you've noticed the bejeweled door knocker earrings...

the huge 3 finger rings...

or possibly the shoegasm inducing footwear...

Either way Melody Ehsani is definitely a force to be reckoned with! Melody is a beautiful inspiration to all women. Her designs represents independence, self-expression and femininity.

"My style is inspired by paradox, controversy, justice and pushing the envelope in showing that you truly can't judge a book by it's cover. I design to upset the equilibrium. I design to inspire. I design to serve. I design because I was created to do so. A portion of every Ehsani shoes purchased will go towards the advancement and education of women in our society"

Melody's story is the classic case of breaking from comfort and security and following ones heart. Many people stop there but Ms. Ehsani took it one step further, she created a niche and became wildly successful! Melody continues to bring fresh, fly ideas to the table and we at BeautifulCompany can't get enough!
I'll leave you to salivate over some of her incredibly fly and innovative ads:
ENJOY!

(This is a M.A.C. ad but those fantastic earrings are M.E. originals!)

And the best part is: HER DESIGNS START AT JUST $20! Just one more reason to be excited about Melody Ehsani! :)

I'm inspired! Are you???

Pump Up The Stam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's no secret that Jessica Stam is one of my favorite models OF ALL TIME, soooooo imagine my delight when I tuned in to the season finale of the Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo and Jessica Stam is the feature!!!!!! *DIE* Rachel was asked by V Magazine to style "Pump up the Stam! The Rachel Zoe Workout" and of course she more than delivered.
This shoot was FTW!!!! The high ponytail, lurex headbands, and pink lip was an ode to the 80's inspired fall fashion *heading to American Apparel*. Thigh high Louis Vuitton boots, Chanel leg warmers, and Gucci sequined tops were just a few of the eye orgasms to be had. And of course of this would not be complete without Jessica's icy blue gaze into the camera *hearts in eyes* (I know, I know I have a bit of a girl-crush, sue me) Speaking of my friend in my head, here are some more pics of Jess:
Stately and Ethereal

Beautiful!
I don't have to say anything, you already know.

You know I couldn't leave you without a pic of Jess with her wings :)

Suede! Fall into Autumn

As much as I love a bright, shiny nail, we are falling into autumn and fall fashion is upon us! The new chill in the air begs for smudgy black eyeliner, rich burgundy lips and dark, vampy nails.
This season matte nails (nail polish minus the shine) have hit the scene as the next big beauty trend and I for one am VERY excited. Essie, O.P.I., and Knock Out have all released a line of matte nail polishes. I picked up O.P.I. Ink Suede.

I couldn't get a good picture of the bottle but it's a sparkly, silver, dark purple. With a rocker chick feel to it.

The color is a about 2 shades darker than it looks in the picture and I'm loving it! Suddenly I have visions of thigh-high boots, patterned tights and fuzzy sweaters dancing in my head! I have officially started my decent into fall... Who's coming with me??
